Title: Changes
Fandom: Original Fic
Words: 100
Prompt: There's more to life than struggle at [livejournal.com profile] muse100

When I saw the redecoration of the bedroom, I was positive someone had just hit me in the chest as hard as they could.

"Welcome home, my lady," he said huskily.

"What have you done?"

"I made the home more inviting."

I shook my head in disbelief. If this was what he thought the definition of inviting was, then we were further apart than I had realized. There had to be more to life and relationships than this and I needed to find it before I went insane.

That was when the suitcase came out and I started making changes.

Title: Betrayal
Fandom: Original Fic
Words: 111
Prompt: Betrayal at [livejournal.com profile] muse100

She sat on the ledge, tears long since gone, as she looked over the night sky. It was hard for her to believe that it was all over. She had thought that for the first time she honestly had a chance at happily ever after. Unfortunately, it didn't go quite as planned. He committed a betrayal against her that she didn't think she could ever forgive him for. He had done the worst thing you could ever do to a woman and now she had to repair the shattered pieces of her life.

Really. What kind of person would take the last chocolate brownie when his girlfriend is suffering from PMS?

Title: Looking Back
Fandom: Original Fic
Words: 100 (not counting the prompt)
Prompt: It's easy now when I look back, they call that retrospect at [livejournal.com profile] muse100

It's easy now when I look back, they call that retrospect and we always seem to be the clearest when we're looking into the past. If I knew then what I know now, would I have changed anything? I don't know. Yes. No. Maybe?

It's always so much easier to look back and pinpoint what we did wrong in the relationship. That I did love him, there's no doubt in my heart about that. However, I wonder if I ever really knew him at all. The fights and the tears made it hard to see the love sometimes, but I don't regret knowing and loving him and I'll never forget him.

The sun is too bright, too hot on my face, and the sand is burning the bottoms of my feet. I don't have the protection boots like my captors did. Captors? Sort of, but not really. They are more like guards, some type of military brigade, I think. I am not used to the sun, and my skin has turned an angry shade of red. I have not dressed for desert travel. I am still wearing the short, very thin linen shift I had been wearing when these jackals---no offense, my Lord Anpu---had snatched me from my bath in the Temple.
